More information about HydraNeedling

Who is the HydraNeedling treatment best suited for?

HydraNeedling merges the advantages of HydraFacial and microneedling, presenting a comprehensive skin rejuvenation solution. This treatment caters to individuals seeking to revitalize their skin, offering a range of benefits. By stimulating collagen production, HydraNeedling effectively improves fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a more youthful complexion. It also aids in the reduction of acne scars by encouraging the growth and remodelling of collagen and elastin HydraNeedling works to improve skin texture and tone by eliminating dead skin cells, resulting in a smoother appearance. Dark spots and patches are lightened, contributing to a more even complexion. With its ability to tighten pores, HydraNeedling further enhances skin smoothness. HydraNeedling serves as a versatile option suitable for various skin types and concerns, although consulting with a skincare professional beforehand is recommended, especially for those with sensitive skin or underlying medical conditions.

What can I expect following a HydraNeedling treatment?

One hour after your treatment you will experience reddening of your skin and the pores will still be open.

  • The next 24hours you may continue to experience erythema, petechiae (bruising), minor oedema (swelling); the treated area may feel warm, tingly, tight and/or sensitive immediately after and up to 48hours which is normal.
  • After 1-2 days – there will still be present: mild erythema, petechiae, reduced oedema, minor itching, dry/tight sensation.
  • After 2-3 days – reduced erythema, fading of petechiae, dissipated oedema, reduced itching, minor skin flaking.
  • Day no. 3-6 – potential slight dryness/ peeling/ flaky skin.
  • Day no. 6-7 – full recovery.
  • Week 3 – improvement in pigmentation begins.
  • Week 4-6 – improvement in lines, wrinkles and scarring begins.
  • The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage and hyperpigmentation.
Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 30 product.
  • If any breakout purges occur within the next 2 weeks, this is normal.
After undergoing HydraNeedling, your face can experience several positive changes. The treatment typically results in smoother, more radiant skin with improved texture and tone.
