I just wanted to say thank you to Omniya Clinic and Dr Roked for helping me. I had misconceptions about testosterone replacement therapy in the past, but now that I'm on TRT I feel back to my best! Long may it continue. Thank you to everyone at Omniya Clinic. MB - Matt

I was having trouble with my acne for a while. I had been to a few clinics before Omniya but didn't get the results I wanted.

Omniya was recommended and had great reviews. I saw Kerry Lou, one of their skin specialist. She explained that with the right treatment and a little patience I would see results. I brought a course of facials. Each one is slightly different depending on what is needed. I'm very happy with the improvement. - Shayma

      • I have had a great experience with Omniya and Dr Roked. I started TRT at the ripe old age of 58 and I have never felt better. Who knew hormones could make such an impact on someones life! - Richard

Great experience overall. The hormone doctor is phenomenal and has helped me a great deal. I wont go into too much detail but she has helped me in all aspects of my life. I have more energy I'm sleeping better. They have amazing skin treatments too. I recently tried PRP dermapen and my skin looks and feels great. - Danilo

I'm very impressed with this clinic. My experience from booking in with the reception team to being seen by one of their doctors has been phenomenal. I will definitely be recommending your services. Thank you Dr Roked for the level of care and how you've helped me so far. - Fred

        Treatment Information

London’s Leading Hormone And Menopause Clinic

There is no denying that this can be an unpredictable and uncomfortable period for any woman. Statistics show that around 80 per cent of women are symptomatic for quite some time before and after their periods stop. Commonly, these include difficulty sleeping, night sweats, hot flushes, headaches, mood changes, vaginal pain and dryness, problems with concentration and memory, palpitations, and much more. We combine both nutrition and BHRT to help keep your body and mind in the best condition possible.

        What Are The Benefits?

The main benefits associated with our menopause clinic are the caring practitioners, the knowledge, experience and bioidentical hormones, when combined, ought to help relieve suffering. The treatment replaces the hormones that are at a lower level (such as naturally produced progesterone) while you approach your menopause; which in turn helps to reduce your symptoms. Research shows it can also assist with the prevention of but not limited to osteoporosis, which is weakening of the bones – a condition that is more common after the menopause.

        What To Expect

When you book an appointment at Omniya’s Menopause Clinic, we will always start with an Initial Consultation. In order to make sure you benefit from the best possible treatment, it is vital that we take your detailed medical history, this can be done on a digital or online form. This is so we can understand exactly what it is you are experiencing. We will use a simple test so we can check your hormone levels, we will check different levels for men and women. This will be sent off for analysis. Once we receive the results, we will use this, alongside your medical history to ensure you end up with the right plan for you. Sometimes, nutrition can be advised alongside bioidentical hormone treatments.

It could take a few months for you to feel the benefits, however, we will monitor your progress and make any adjustments to help you feel your best.

We work with a number of compounding pharmacies who will be able to make bioidentical hormones specifically for each patient to use at home. Some medications are regulated and unregulated and you will be made fully aware of all the information needed beforehand. All risks and benefits will be discussed with you.

Hormone Replacement at our Menopause Clinic

There are a number of ways that women (and men) can be treated. Finding the right hormone balance can be difficult, yet that is what we are here to help with. Not only are there different forms of BHRT, but there are a number of options for how you take your medication, as well as different treatment plans.

Most women will take a combination of progestogen and oestrogen (you can read more about them in this handy guide). However, women without a womb can take oestrogen on its own. There are regulated and unregulated medication such as creams, gels, skin patches, and tablets. These are not always available through the NHS. We will work with you to ensure the right treatment plan is prescribed to suit you.

        Who Can We Treat?

Your practitioner will work with you, and help you to weigh up the pros and cons of bioidentical hormones, assessing your medical history and symptoms to come to a suitable plan.

However, you should not be treated if you:

        • Are pregnant
        • Have a liver disease
        • Suffer with high blood pressure that has not been treated
        • Have history of blood clots
        • History of womb cancer, breast cancer, or ovarian cancer

        Menopause and HRT FAQ’s

There is no limit when it comes to how long you can be on your HRT treatment. At our London hormone clinic, your doctor will provide you with their recommendations. For most females, they will stop taking HRT once menopausal symptoms pass, which is typically after a few years.

As is the case with any type of medication, there are a number of side effects you could experience with your HRT menopause treatment. Not everyone experiences such symptoms, and those who do tend to notice that they pass within three months of the treatment starting. Some of the common side effects are as follows:

        • Vaginal bleeding
        • Abdominal pain
        • Indigestion
        • Feeling sick
        • Headaches
        • Breast tenderness

If you stop taking your treatment before advised to, it is likely that your symptoms will return. They may also be just as bad as they were when they first began, although there have been cases whereby people have stopped their treatment and their symptoms were less severe. It is not something that can be predicted. If you do decide to quit, it is recommended that you avoid doing so at a stressful time and instead do so while you feel stable. Make sure you talk to one of our specialists about stopping, before you do so.

There are a lot of different ways to take BHRT. Not only do you have creams and pills but there are also skin patches, spray, and other forms too. Using creams on your skin, as opposed to taking a pill, is going to reduce your risk of experiencing blood clots because it will not go through your liver. Bioidentical hormones will be discussed with you during your consultation and you will be advised on the best way to take BHRT for you personally.
