What Is Sagging Skin?
As we age it’s common for loose skin to build up around the face or the body. This is due to the breakdown of collagen and elastin.
Sagging skin is can occur in anyone, though it’s more likely to happen with people who are older and those who’ve lost a large amount of weight in a short amount of time.
Other causes of sagging skin may be linked to certain conditions such as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, also known as granulomatous slack skin. Another rare condition is Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a connective tissue condition that’s caused by a defect in collagen production.

How Do You Treat Sagging Skin?
To combat sagging skin, there are many procedures you can access, and this includes surgical and non-surgical procedures.
The face is one of the most popular places for tightening procedures, especially the jowls and further down on the neck. Other areas of the body commonly affected include the stomach and upper arms.
BODYTite is a procedure that removes fat and tightens loose skin by sculpting the body, firming the skin and its structure. TUMMYtite, FACETite and ACCUTite are all different versions of this where the laser is targeted to specific areas.
Radiofrequency (RF) for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) involves heating cells underneath the skin’s surface in order to produce more collagen. This, in turn, tightens the skin elasticity. It can also be used with microneedling.
