      • I'm very impressed with this clinic. My experience from booking in with the reception team to being seen by one of their doctors has been phenomenal. I will definitely be recommending your services. Thank you Dr Roked for the level of care and how you've helped me so far. - Fred

I was having trouble with my acne for a while. I had been to a few clinics before Omniya but didn't get the results I wanted.

Omniya was recommended and had great reviews. I saw Kerry Lou, one of their skin specialist. She explained that with the right treatment and a little patience I would see results. I brought a course of facials. Each one is slightly different depending on what is needed. I'm very happy with the improvement. - Shayma

Great experience overall. The hormone doctor is phenomenal and has helped me a great deal. I wont go into too much detail but she has helped me in all aspects of my life. I have more energy I'm sleeping better. They have amazing skin treatments too. I recently tried PRP dermapen and my skin looks and feels great. - Danilo

      • If you are thinking of going on Hormone Replacement Therapy I would highly recommend Dr Sohere Roked. She is the best doctor I have ever met. She listens and understands her patients (I know because my 2 sisters also see her) Her approach is different to other doctors as she is a trained psychologist - She understands the balance between hormone therapy and mental health. She has honestly saved my life! - Meridith

Fantastic face rejuvenation treatments. Dr Thu Linh NGuyen is extremely professional, gentle and so patient ! I am so grateful for her advice and so happy with the results ! - Henriette

Omniya's Dr Tu Lin was recommended to me by a friend who has the most incredible skin and lips. Obviously, I had to try. She is such a caring doctor, and went out of her way. I've had lip fillers in the past with others, but now I've been to Omniya I doubt I need to go anywhere else. I love my new lips. Omniya Clinic is without fail the best place for lip fillers in London! Thank you! - Nora

      • I've been going to Omniya for years and I've always been impressed. This review is long overdue. I've had a few procedures done with them and I've been thinking of doing a hair transplant for years, now that they're offering it I will definitely go ahead with it. They only work with the best doctors. Thank you Omniya. - Adam

What are some of the common health issues that women experience?

There are a lot of different health problems that women have a tendency to experience. This highlights why regular check-ups and medical MOTs are so important. Below, we will highlight some of the most common health problems that women tend to experience.

        • Cancer – There is only one place to begin, and this is with cancer. Two of the most common forms of cancer that impact women are cervical and breast cancers. Detecting both of these cancers at the earliest possible opportunity is critical when it comes to keeping women healthy and alive. The latest worldwide figures show that around half a million females die from breast cancer and cervical cancer every year. The vast majority of these deaths happen when screening does not happen and treatment is virtually non-existent.
        • Autoimmune illnesses – It has been reported that approximately 75 percent of people that have an autoimmune illness are women. They are usually genetic.
        • Mental health – Evidence suggests that women are more prone to experience somatic complaints, depression, and anxiety than men. Depression is the most common mental health problem for females.
        • Metabolic syndrome – This is not a disease. Rather, it is a cluster of health markets, including the likes of hypertension, glucose intolerance, dyslipidemia, and abdominal obesity. These markets can then result in more serious conditions, for example, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
        • Maternal health – A lot of women all over the world are now benefitting from huge improvements in childbirth and pregnancy care. Making sure that you have a healthy birth is obviously going to be a huge priority, and we can help to make sure that everything is how it should be.
        • Fertility problems – Around 10 per cent of women between the ages of 15 and 44-years-old struggle with staying pregnant or getting pregnant in the first place. Some of the underlying causes for fertility issues include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis.
        • Reproductive health – Last but not least, we have reproductive health problems and sexual health issues. One third of health problems women experience are related to these when they are between the ages of 15 and 44-years-old. A major risk factor is unsafe sex.

This is just a handful of some of the most common medical issues that women experience today. No matter what sort of medical concerns you have, having a regular health check is a good idea to ensure that any potential problems are picked up on at the earliest opportunity.

        • PSA, a prostate enzyme, is going to be measured if you are over the age of 45-years-old, or if there is any significant family history or clinical indication.
        • Blood tests – A full blood test can include cholesterol levels, diabetes screening test, kidney function, liver function, and both white and red cell counts. As part of a blood test, thyroid function can also be measured.

What are some of the common health issues that men experience?

There are many different sorts of health problems that men have a tendency to experience. This highlights why medical MOTs are so critical for men of all ages. Below, we will highlight some of the most common health problems that men tend to experience.

        • Pneumonia and influenza – Other men’s health issues, such as cancer, AIDs, diabetes, and COPD, make them more likely to be susceptible to pneumonia and influenza.
        • Skin cancer – Men who are over the age of 50-years-old are at a higher risk of developing skin cancer. This is twice the likelihood of women. This higher risk is likely attributable to fewer visits to the doctor and more frequent exposure to the sun.
        • Diabetes – Diabetes presents a number of unique complications for men, which includes lower testosterone levels, which can cause anxiety and depression, as well as a greater risk of sexual impotence. Diabetes when it is not treated can result in vision problems, stroke, heart disease, kidney damage, and nerve damage.
        • Depression – Not only does depression impact women, but it has an impact on men too. However, the way depression is experienced tends to differ between both sexes. Men often report symptoms of irritability and fatigue more often than women do. Men are also less likely to seek help and acknowledge the condition they are experiencing.
        • Cardiovascular disease – One in three men have some form of cardiovascular disease. It is believed that around 2.8 million men have a stroke per year. Not only this, but in younger men, hypertension is very common. This is why routine health checks are pivotal for monitoring your heart health.
        • Liver disease – Last but not least, we have liver disease. Higher levels of tobacco and alcohol use put men at risk of liver disease, such as alcoholic liver disease and cirrhosis.

These are some of the most common health problems that men have a tendency to experience. If you are worried about any of the health issues that have been mentioned, or you simply want to make sure that you are in good working order, book a health check with us today.

Wellman and Well Woman Health Check FAQ’s

There are many different types of blood tests that can be carried out. This includes everything from DHEA to homocysteine. When you visit us for a health check, we will be able to recommend the best blood tests based on your needs and conditions.

There are a number of different warning signs that could indicate cancer. This includes a persistent hoarseness or cough, a persistent change in bowel habits or bladder habits, unusual discharge or bleeding from any body opening, a lump or thickening anywhere in the body, and a sore that continues to bleed and does not heal.

The duration of a full body check is going to depend on the number of tests that are going to be carried out. This could take anything from one hour to a full day to complete.

There is no singular STD test that can test for all STDs, and there is certainly no singular test that can give you a full and accurate picture of your sexual health. Nevertheless, there are also specific STDs that most doctors will not screen for regularly, such as HPV and herpes. This can mean that detection goes unnoticed for years. If you need an STD check or you are worried about your sexual health, this is something that you should discuss with your health expert and they will be able to tell you what steps to take next.

There are different symptoms associated with different types of cancer. Most people do experience symptoms, yet there are cases whereby people have cancer for a while without realising. However, early detection is so important when it comes to curing cancer, and this is one of the main reasons why regular health checks are so critical. If you would like to book an appointment, please do not hesitate to get in touch today for more information.

Having a complete health checkup at regular intervals is recommended for anyone who is 35-years-old or above. This is imperative, especially when it comes to detecting fatal and critical diseases at an early stage. This is especially the case when early detection can result in the disease being managed or even prevented, and ensuring that the patient’s life span is improved.
