Tear Trough Fillers is a minimally invasive procedure that works to rejuvenate the under-eye. This area can begin to look sunken and darken with age, or when weight is lost. During treatment, your practitioner will inject small amounts of hyaluronic acid into the under-eye area, the depressed area running from the side of the nose below the eye and above the upper cheekbone. You should avoid: Touching or applying make-up on the treated area after the treatment, drinking alcohol for 24 hours before the treatment, Aspirin for 7 days before your treatment, Ibuprofen for 2 days before your treatment. These treatment considerations will be provided to you at your consultation, and an aftercare form will be given to you.
You will likely notice results immediately, but allow 7-14 days for any minor side effects to wear off. The results should last up to 12 months. You will have a review with your clinician after 14 days and can discuss the results to ensure satisfaction.
