Fantastic clinic. Everything you need in one place, I started seeing Dr Roked for HRT. She has changed my life. They have a pharmacy too which is convenient for me. I never write reviews but this clinic has changed my life! - Vanessa

I just wanted to say thank you to Omniya Clinic and Dr Roked for helping me. I had misconceptions about testosterone replacement therapy in the past, but now that I'm on TRT I feel back to my best! Long may it continue. Thank you to everyone at Omniya Clinic. MB - Matt

      • I was having trouble with my acne for a while. I had been to a few clinics before Omniya but didn't get the results I wanted.

Omniya was recommended and had great reviews. I saw Kerry Lou, one of their skin specialist. She explained that with the right treatment and a little patience I would see results. I brought a course of facials. Each one is slightly different depending on what is needed. I'm very happy with the improvement. - Shayma

Omniya's Dr Tu Lin was recommended to me by a friend who has the most incredible skin and lips. Obviously, I had to try. She is such a caring doctor, and went out of her way. I've had lip fillers in the past with others, but now I've been to Omniya I doubt I need to go anywhere else. I love my new lips. Omniya Clinic is without fail the best place for lip fillers in London! Thank you! - Nora

If you are thinking of going on Hormone Replacement Therapy I would highly recommend Dr Sohere Roked. She is the best doctor I have ever met. She listens and understands her patients (I know because my 2 sisters also see her) Her approach is different to other doctors as she is a trained psychologist - She understands the balance between hormone therapy and mental health. She has honestly saved my life! - Meridith

        Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment Information

        What is ultrasound cavitation?

Ultrasound cavitation is a weight-loss treatment that involves bursting fat cells through the use of low-frequency sound waves. This can result in a slimmer figure, as inches will be lost in the treated areas. The number of inches lost differs from person-to-person and depends on the treatment area. At Omniya, we’re delighted to offer ultrasound cavitation treatment at our clinic, as it proves to be an excellent, less-invasive alternative to liposuction. The latter requires surgery for fat removal, yet this treatment doesn’t.

What sort of results can people expect from ultrasound cavitation?

There are two key results that you will be able to gain from ultrasound cavitation. The first is that you will experience a reduced circumference in the treatment area. This is because of the fat-cell release. The second result you can expect is an overall contoured appearance. Of course, you will then experience knock-on benefits. The boost in confidence and self-esteem that people experience once they have had ultrasound cavitation is definitely something worth shouting about!

        How does ultrasound cavitation work?

During an ultrasound cavitation treatment, a non-invasive machine is going to target certain body areas. It will use low-frequency sound waves, and in some instances, light suction. The procedure will heat and vibrate the layer of fat cells that are below the surface of the skin. This pressure will result in the fat cells liquefying and their contents being released into the bloodstream. The body is then going to have the ability to process the fatty acids via the lymphatic system, which is pretty much or proverbial waste disposal plant!

        Perfect’me ultrasound cavitation

There are a lot of different ultrasound cavitation devices on the market today. A lot of people assume that all of these devices are created equally but this is not the case. We are delighted to us the Perfect’me ultrasound cavitation devices. They are known as being some of the safest and effective in the industry.

Making sure ultrasound cavitation is right for you

We will always begin by making sure that you are a candidate for this treatment. We will have a consultation where we will look at your medical history and ensure that this treatment is going to work on you. It is important to note that ultrasound cavitation is not suitable for people who are obese. Instead, it has been designed for people that have certain parts of their body whereby they are hoping to reduce the appearance of fat.

You are also not going to be suitable for this treatment if you have issues with bleeding. Certain health conditions, like liver disease and heart disease, can rule you out as well. If you are pregnant or nursing, you also need to avoid ultrasound cavitation. Anyone who has medical implants in their body will typically not be able to have this treatment either. These include the likes of pacemakers and cochlear implants.

If you are unsure as to whether this treatment is going to be right for you, don’t worry. We will be able to assess the treatment area and your medical history and goals, and then make our recommendations. If we believe that ultrasound cavitation is not right for you, we can make our recommendations regarding other treatments that could be more suitable.

The consultation also gives you the opportunity to ask anything that you may wish to know about your treatment, side effects, post treatment care and more. If you are happy to proceed, you will need to sign a consent form. This is simply to declare that you are happy with everything that we have told you and that you understand the procedure.

Pre-treatment advice – What to do before ultrasound cavitation

Before your appointment for ultrasound cavitation, it is important to ensure that your body is properly nourished and hydrated. We would advise patients to drink a minimum of two litres of water and make sure you only consume healthy foods within the 24 hours before your treatment. It is also recommended to dry body brush and moisturise your skin so that the detoxification process can be jump started.

Post-treatment advice – What to do after ultrasound cavitation

Once you have had ultrasound cavitation, it is a good idea to have 20 minutes exercise after your treatment. This will elevate your heart rate. You can do this straight after you have had your treatment, and it is best to keep this up for the three days following. This is important because it makes sure that the stored energy that has been released by the cavitation procedure is then burnt off. There are lots of great cardio workouts available today, so why not look for a good at-home workout you can try? You also need to make sure that you consume a minimum of 2 litres of water within the 24-hour period following the treatment. Continue to engage in regular exercise, moisturise, and dry brush so that your circulation is kept strong. Also, think about other detox methods to keep up the results, for example, sauna sessions or massages.

        How many treatments are required?

When you book an appointment with Omniya, we will always have a consultation with you first. This gives us the opportunity to look at your medical records. We will also be able to assess the treatment area and we can make our recommendations regarding the best solution for you in terms of treatment and the number of treatments we believe you will need. Most of the time, between eight and 12 sessions are going to be required for the best results. However, there are a number of different factors that are going to determine this. This includes the area being treated, your weight, and your age. This is something that we will discuss with you in full.

In terms of how long you need to wait before you have your next ultrasound cavitation, we definitely recommend that you wait at least a week. The reason for this is because your body is going to need three days in order to eliminate toxins and fats after your treatment.

How long will the results from ultrasound cavitation last?

With ultrasound cavitation, the fat cells are not destroyed. Instead, the contents of the fat cells are emptied. This means that the cells could store fat again in the future. This is why it is imperative to maintain a balanced diet so that the results will last for as long as possible. The results of the treatment will start to decrease over time if you are consuming far more calories than you are burning.

How many inches do people lose with ultrasound cavitation?

The number of inches that you will lose depends on a number of different factors. This includes the area of the body that is being treated. It also includes your current weight and your age. The average loss with ultrasound cavitation is two inches. However, there have been cases whereby patients have lost as much as five inches from the treatment area.

        The safety of ultrasound cavitation

Ultrasound cavitation is a very safe treatment. You won’t experience any pain during the treatment, although you may feel some sensations whilst it is taking place. Once the fat has been released, some patients do feel a little bit warmer and sometimes slightly unwell afterward. This is because of the detoxification of the body and the release of thermal energy.

Even though ultrasound cavitation is highly effective, it is still important to eat a healthy diet that is high in fibre. Drinking water can also assist the liver in terms of fat metabolisation, which will help to make the treatment as successful as possible. Furthermore, exercise and eating right will help to minimise the number of treatments you need in the future.

        Are there any side effects?

Side effects are very rare when it comes to ultrasound cavitation. Nevertheless, all treatments do have potential side effects. The most common symptoms are redness or swelling in the treatment area. These side effects will tend to disappear within a couple of weeks. Usually, they will disappear within a few days. You may notice that you need to go to the toilet more after the treatment because of the release of waste and toxins by the body. Moreover, your skin may be a little bit drier after you have had ultrasound cavitation. This can last for a few days. Nevertheless, using lotions that have aloe vera in them can help with this. More often than not, people can go straight back to their normal daily life as soon as they have had the treatment.

        Ultrasound Cavitation FAQ’s

Yes! This treatment has proven to be very effective. However, it is worth noting that results can differ from person to person. This is because the results depend on the person’s body type, as well as their individual health history.

In the past few years, there has been an increase in home beauty procedures. There are a lot of devices on the market today that make this possible. However, ultrasound cavitation is something we definitely do not recommend doing from home. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the devices that are available for DIY use are not as effective, and so you probably will not get the results you hope for. The second reason is that it can actually be dangerous. If you have not received the correct training, you could end up causing yourself injury or illness by using the device ineffectively.

This will depend on the size of the area that is being treated. Usually, each treatment is going to take between 30 and 50 minutes.

No, one of the great things about this treatment is that you can go back to your daily activities afterward.

Both of these treatments are effective in terms of removing fat deposits and doing so without requiring surgery. The main differences between the two relate to the methods used. With CoolSculpting, which is a form of cryolipolysis, controlled low temperatures are used to focus on the problem areas. With ultrasound cavitation, ultrasound is used to get these results.

We don’t recommend doing this treatment on a daily basis. The reason for this is because you will not have given your body enough time to get rid of all of the toxins and fats.

There is no evidence of ultrasound cavitation being an effective treatment for cellulite when used on its own. However, if you are considered about reducing the appearance of cellulite as well as getting rid of stubborn fat deposits, we can make recommendations regarding combining ultrasound cavitation with another one of our treatments.
