Is Mesotherapy Good For Cellulite?
At Omniya Clinic in London
This treatment can also be used to get rid of dimpling fat that lies beneath the skin. Cellulite is something a lot of people experience, and you may think that you’re going to be stuck with cellulite forever, but you don’t have to simply put up with this. Cellulite occurs when there is a build-up of toxins, fluid, and fat, which are trapped within a hardened network of connective tissue fibres in the mesoderm layer of your skin. Venous circulation and lymphatic circulation is poor in these areas. You can use mesotherapy to treat this, as it can increase the lymphatic and venous flow, as well as eliminating dimpling and fat in the area. In four weeks, you should notice that your skin is a lot smoother. Where cellulite is treated, you can lose anywhere from two to four inches.

Mesotherapy Aftercare
There are a number of different steps you can take to make sure you get the most from your treatment and enhance your results. This includes the following…
- Massage with Arnica cream or gel between three and four times per day in order to help with bruising and swelling.
- Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours once you have had the treatment and until the bruising subsides. If you do need to go in the sun, make sure you use SPF 25 or greater at all times.
- Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water on the day of the treatment. You should also continue this level of water intake for up to one week after the treatment.
- After the treatment, avoid exercising for two days. Exercise is going to cause you to sweat, which means the solution will excrete out of your skin’s pores. This is going to decrease the effectiveness of the treatment, which is the last thing you want. So, use this as an opportunity to take some time off the gym.
- You also need to make sure you do not take a shower or wash for at least eight hours after the treatment. Do not take a hot bath for at least two days. Once the 48-hour period is up, make sure baths are only limited to 15 minutes for the first week. This can help with any sort of bruising that might have happened.
