at our Knightsbridge Clinic in London
Our Dermal Filler treatments in our Omniya Clinic in London are used to address conditions such as deep lines, wrinkles and volume loss; whilst also being extremely versatile and suitable for contouring and lifting the face.
At Omniya Clinic we work only with the most advanced range of dermal fillers, using brands such as Allergan (Juvederm) and Teosyal (Teoxane) to enhance each individual’s features, creating lasting, discreet and natural looking results.
Dermal Fillers are injected into the skin to give your face a natural volume, leaving your skin hydrated and more youthful. Popular areas to add volume and fullness include the lips, cheeks and bridge of the nose. For smoothing and plumping lines and wrinkles, popular treatment areas are around the forehead, eyes, mouth, chin, neck, décolletage and hands.
Hyaluronic Acid – Fillers
Over years, skin loses its moisture and becomes thinner. Lines and wrinkles start to settle.
Hyaluronic acid injections can help smoothing them without surgery.
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body. Like a sponge, it absorbs water and keeps the skin’s deeper layers hydrated. It is possible to inject this molecule as a gel to give volume and plump the skin or smooth wrinkles. The hyaluronic acid will mix with those contained in the body and will progressively reabsorb. It is advised to have dermal fillers every 3 to 12 months, depending on the treatment area. Reversibility is an advantage compared to the permanent effect of a cosmetic surgery.
What areas can we treat with Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers can be used to treat a variety of concerns, including the tear troughs, naso-labial folds (commonly known as smile lines), mouth corners, marionette lines and chin augmentation to name a few. It is also possible to reshape the lips or give them more definition, or contour the face and add volume on the cheekbones but also sharpen a jawline or enhance a chin.
Your practitioner will discuss in full depth the range of solutions available to your every concern. For more information on our expert team, see here.
The treatment procedure
Most of product contain local anesthetic but some don’t. A numbing cream can be applied before to improve the comfort during the injection. The procedure takes between 15 and 30 minutes depending on which areas are treated. A massage of the area will be performed to make sure the product is well placed.
They are visible instantly but the the effect are optimum about 2-3 weeks after the injection when the body integrates the molecule and pumps water. The treated area may swell for a few days, bruise or present redness, but you can apply make up while experiencing these minor side effects.
